Raindrop Aroma Therapy

Raindrop Therapy is a powerful yet gentle technique which is combined with a full body massage. This technique involves a synergistic combination of 10 therapeutic grade Young Living essential oils applied along the spine in a rain like fashion from 12 inches above. The oils are then worked into the spine using light strokes which stimulate energy impulses and disperse the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body. The essential oils aid in healing through the aromatic effects on the lymbic system as well as through absorption into the blood. Hot Stone Massage

The Hot Stone Massage is a unique experience that offers an intense state of deep relaxation while feeling a sense of connection to nature. Smooth Basalt stones are heated in water and placed on specific points on the body such as the back, shoulders, legs, and hands. While the heat of the stones are resting into muscles the areas without the resting stones are simultaneously massaged with the melting warmth of the stones. The massage consists of Swedish and Deep Tissue massage techniques all done with the hot stones in hand. The warmth of the stones and hot towels infused with aromatic essential oils will leave you in an ultimate state of relaxation. Note: The 60 minute Hot Stone massage is a shorter version of this treatment and does not include resting stones or aroma therapy. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Pregnancy is such an amazing experience both physically and emotionally. You have this sweet precious peanut growing inside that you can't wait to meet all the while your body is constantly changing. Prenatal massage is a wonderful way to help ease muscle tension and discomfort that pregnancy can bring, as well as reduce swelling, increase circulation, and aid in hormonal changes. As a licensed certified massage therapist by the California Massage Therapy Council I have the qualifications to provide therapeutic massage as well as prenatal massage. I have had many hours of continuing education in pregnancy massage, myofacial release, soft tissue release, manual lymphatic drainage, and more with the specific focus on prenatal and postpartum women. As a full time practicing therapist since 2003 I also have the experience and confidence to help facilitate the healing needs during pregnancy.  The custom designed pregnancy table I use enables pregnant women to lay face down while their tummy is gently supported leaving the rest of the body feeling weightless, at last! This table is custom designed to support the tummy without creating extra pressure on ligaments. I have many years of experience and many ways to help support the pregnant tummy as all women's bodies are unique. And of course there is also the option of the side lying position for prenatal massage or lying face up with the support of a pillow wedge if that is the most comfortable for you! I am a firm believer in listening to your own body as you know it best, and I will help in any way that I can to make you as comfortable as possible. Prenatal massage can be used from the beginning of pregnancy through the due date or beyond (which often happens).
